Welcome to Thrive Learning Center East!

Thrive Learning Center East is a State of Virginia licensed daycare and preschool for children six weeks until the age of kindergarten eligibility. We are designed to provide for the academic, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children. Our programs will expose your child to a variety of stimulating experiences, social interactions, individual and group activities, and skillful guidance by trained teachers during these learning experiences. Our Co-Owner/Director, Martha Evans, has a Masters degree in Psychology from Liberty University and is licensed as a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Virginia and Florida. She is also experienced as a child development center Director and Teacher in Chesterfield County. Tina Kellum, our Site Director, has experience in developing and directing child development centers for several years.

Tina has a love for children, their families and their learning. The staff of Thrive Learning Center East believe each child is a unique individual and we are sensitive to their social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that meet the academic needs of every child. We teach through fun and discovery to encourage their love of learning the great outdoors.. Our staff is highly trained and experienced to provided each child with individual love, nurture, and guidance while teaching academic and social skills to prepare them for success in Kindergarten and beyond. Our staff is always available for dialogue with parents when not teaching, directing, or playing with their students; At Thrive Learning Center East, each child is special…and we strive to provide each child with the tools needed for a lifetime of FUN and LEARNING.
